Iced Pudding a la NessleRode

Prepare the following ingredients: viz.,—pick two ounces of sultana raisins, ditto of mixed candied-peel shred fine, one ounce of cleaned currants, four ounces of pine apple, and one ounce of angelica; put these ingredients in a basin with a gill of maraschino, and set them aside. Prepare a liquid custard with a pint of boiled milk, the syrup from the pine, a bruised stick of vanilla, twelve ounces of sugar, four ounces of chestnut farina (Grosse and Blackwell's), and ten yolks of eggs;
