Rights and reuse
The historical book and the modern website layers have different provenance and may have different reuse considerations.
Historical text
Francatelli’s 1868 text is historical source material. The transcriptions identify the source edition, and the page images are web-resolution files preserved from the earlier archive rather than represented as preservation masters.
Modern work
The interface design, editorial notes, data structures and generated presentation assets are modern additions and should not be assumed to have the same status as the historical text.
Responsible reuse
When reusing material, cite the page URL and distinguish the 1868 source from this edition’s modern transcription, navigation and editorial context. Rights in third-party or legacy editorial material may differ.
